A game like Sporcle, with a twist
Sporcle asks how many you can name. Icillion asks how rare an answer you can find.
What Sporcle is
Sporcle is a quiz website best known for its timed list quizzes: name every country in Europe, every element, every US president, typing as many as you can before the clock runs out. Much of its huge library is made by its own players.
What Sporcle fans will like in Icillion
- The same kind of question: open prompts with long lists of right answers, typed in, with spelling slips, accents and plurals forgiven.
- Every prompt has a full A–Z page of accepted answers, so you can study a list the way Sporcle players do.
- Hard prompts for list lovers: Roman emperors, noble gases, landlocked countries, UNESCO sites. See the hard trivia questions.
Where they differ
On Sporcle you try to name a whole list. In Icillion you give one answer per prompt against a 20-second clock, and the rarer it is, the more it scores. Knowing the whole list helps you; the obvious answer barely does.
